Gleny Castro won the "XIX International Contest Jeunes Creatures de Mode" in Paris, France, that took her to get an scholarship at the ECOLES DE LA CHAMBRE SYNDICALE DE LA COUTURE PARISSIENE, school of many famous designers, where she got the chance to learn about Haute Couture, Pret-a-porter, D.A.O and Moulage. In 2005, she returns to Lima and participates at the "CREADORES DE AMBOS MUNDOS", a designer contest organized by PromPerú getting the first place.

Then, in 2008, she got to participate at the Pret-a-porter runway in Paris and later in 2009 in "Cusco always in fashion". These gave her the opportunity to show her passion by giving Peruavian fibers such as cotton and alpaca a lead role in her collections
